Qwivals of fun – Kirkland family invests in magical fun center in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana

You won’t find any words in Webster’s like "Qwivals."

In fact, there aren’t any words beginning with "Qw."

Qwivals http://www.qwivals.com/ is a fanciful word created by the owners of a new family fun center in Victor to spark the imagination and insight fun.

The name of the fun park starts and ends with the first letters of the owners’ names, Quinn and Sandy Kirkland.

"The "W" was thrown in for fun," Sandy Kirkland said. "And the rest just fell into place."

Qwivals sounds magical, she said, and lends itself to the park’s theme centered around a wizard named Qwizard, who wanders the 20-acre park greeting guests with a wand.

The Kirklands opened Qwivals last month, and thousands of people have enjoyed the park’s features so far.

"We’ve been packed," Qwivals manager Bob Burke said.
