Idaho tourism continues steady growth – Industry now third largest in the state

To those in the tourism business, every day is going to be sunny and every experience will be happy and memorable.

This kind of optimism is crucial in an industry that depends on a regular stream of customers, but is also contingent on variables like how much money people have in their travel budgets, the personalities they encounter in their travels, and the weather, whether it’s a heavy or light snowfall in winter, or an overly hot or cool summer.

But when listening to local and state tourism officials, 2005 may really be a great year.
