Cabela’s coming to Helena?

One of Helena’s favorite rumors is that Cabela’s, the national retailer of equipment and clothing for hunting, fishing, camping and the outdoor lifestyle, has plans to build one of its "destination" retail stores here.

If it’s true, it would be a huge boon to the local economy. The company’s retail stores are tourist attractions by themselves, with thousands of square feet dedicated to things like artificial trout ponds, demonstration areas and copious taxidermy.
