High School Business Challenge is a statewide business education program offered to all Montana high schools either as a classroom or extra curricular education tool. The computer driven business simulation allows students to compete in a market place against other schools who all manage a manufacturing firm that produces and markets a personal DVD player.

High School Business Challenge has been offered since the year 2000 and has replaced the former “Business Week” as a business education tool to help students understand business and learn critical business skills which assist with career decisions and personal life applications. The Montana Chamber Foundation is the fund raising arm for HSBC which is supported by numerous businesses, foundations and individuals which allows the program to be offered at a very nominal cost to schools. The Montana Chamber Foundation contracts with MSU’s, Montana Council on Economic Education who trains instructors and manages the simulation.
