Denver offers to help nonprofits find funding

Program aids groups with grant proposals

As private and government funding shrinks for Denver’s growing number of nonprofit groups, city officials are reaching out to charitable agencies that need help finding new sources of revenue.

At a nonprofit summit Friday, City Council members and Mayor John Hickenlooper’s liaison to nonprofits urged groups to work together in the face of budget cuts.
