Brown Bag Seminar Series on Business Legal Issues offered by the Billings Small Business Development Center beginning April 27
Billings Small Business Development Center located at Big Sky Economic Development Authority and Montana Business Incubator are hosting a series of Brown Bag Lunch programs offering existing and emerging business owners practical information regarding the law, accounting and insurance issues.
The eight weekly sessions are free and begin on April 27. They will be held at MSU-Billings School of Business, 100 Poly Drive Suite 163. For a schedule and reservations contact Amber and the Montana Business Incubator 657-2138.
Presented by attorney, Eric Nord of Crist Law Firm, LLC, topics will include choosing the Right Legal Entity for your Business, Franchising and Distributorships – are they right for you, Employment Law – what do you need to know and Workers Compensation System and the Business Owner. Accounting Considerations in Starting or Expanding Your Business will discuss the tax implications of various business forms and accounting methods to secure financing. Topics change weekly and business owners may attend all eight sessions or select those most relevant to them.
