Actor Dennis Weaver biggest draw at Bresnan center dedication in Billings

When Bresnan Communications http://www.bresnan.com/ christened its new regional operations center Friday, dignitaries emphasized the center’s role in creating well-paying jobs that will help the economy.

Lt. Gov. John Bohlinger said the $8 million center in Billings is proof that Montana is a good place to do business, and he praised a state workforce training program that provided Bresnan’s new hires with the skills to handle demanding high-tech jobs.

But after the speeches were delivered and the big blue ribbon was snipped, hundreds of Billings residents flocked to a large white tent in Bresnan’s parking lot for a chance to chat with veteran actor Dennis Weaver.
