PrintingForLess.com Becomes First Montana Company to Adopt Health Savings Account

PrintingForLess.com announced today that it has become
the first Montana company to fully implement an all-new approach to health insurance called
Health Savings Accounts.

"This new health plan is an example of our progressive business approach, which has
helped us become successful and attract such great employees," said Marne Reed, director of
Human Resources.

First authorized by Congress in the fall of 2003, HSA programs consist of two parts. The
first is a conventional insurance policy that covers major medical bills. The second is a personal
Health Savings Account for each employee, from which they can withdraw money tax-free for
medical care.

"Much of the money that once went to insurance companies now goes directly to our
employees," Reed said. "The response here has been very enthusiastic."

Employees can use their HSA accounts to pay for deductibles, co-pays, and numerous
other health care issues not traditionally covered by insurance, like chiropractic, acupuncture, and
preventative care. And, unlike cafeteria plans, there is no "use it or lose it" feature with HSA’s.

Unspent money rolls over in the accounts, and can be accumulated for withdrawal upon
retirement.

"HSA’s let each employee decide how to best spend their money on their own health,"
Reed says. "It puts the decision making power back in their hands and gives them an incentive to
negotiate the cost of service with their providers, which will lower the ongoing cost of health
care."

PrintingForLess.com will fund each employee’s health savings account from the money
saved on the lower premiums of the new plan.
PFL began working on implementation of the program in October of 2003, and met stiff
resistance from area insurers. With a smaller population and fewer insurance carriers, Montana
has traditionally faced significant challenges when it comes to availability of cost-effective
coverage.

"Insurance companies and agents in this area have been slow to meet consumer demand
for progressive health insurance programs," said Dan Rice, Director of Development. "We have
been in contact with several area employers that are trying to implement this type of program, and
hope that our early adoption will help increase competition in this area."

The implementation of the new health insurance program continues PFL’s history of
offering innovative benefits to its employees. PFL currently operates the only state-licensed,
company-owned child care facility in Montana, allows dogs in the work place, and is rapidly
expanding its workforce with 18 positions currently open. Reed commented, "As the local
economy continues to improve, it is important for us to offer the best benefits possible, so that we
can continue to attract great people."
